I offer voice lessons, beginner to intermediate piano lessons, and beginner to intermediate guitar lessons & ukulele lessons at Music & Arts in Durham off 15-501, as well as out of my home in downtown Durham.
One benefit of taking your lessons at my home studio is that you’ll have access to my recording equipment, speakers, and microphones to help you work with the tools of the trade and get accurate feedback on your progress. I am happy to help you make recordings that you can share with your friends and family. I am also happy to help you realize your music goals, whether they might be to write some songs, learn how to read music, sing better in and out of the shower, or perform at an open mic!
I have taught private music lessons for three years and am working on my Master’s in Jazz Composition at North Carolina Central University where voice is my primary instrument. I offer recitals twice a year for students to gain performance experience. I teach all ages, and genres include jazz, pop, country, singer/songwriter and folk. Please take note that I do not teach classical voice.

Lesson at my home in downtown Durham: $25/half hour or $50/hour
Lesson at Music & Arts: $28.50/half hour or $57/hour
Lesson at your home: $60/hour (Durham)
